That's wrong

Camera should fit "flush" with no gap

Check it is the correct bracket for the camera, there's quite a few

Camera looks like a DS-2CE56D1T-VFIR3 which references the bracket ref DS 1273ZJ which leaves a gap that the customers maintenance spark isn't happy about.

cant say I disagree. All we did is replace one of eight existing cameras and a vidio recorder DVD.
