August 20, 200322 yr comment_1899 Can anyone help me? We had an electrician round the other day who had to turn off the power supply. When he turned it back on, nothing seems to happen when you press any of the buttons on the keypad - ie cant set/reset the alarm. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to reset and reactivate the alarm? Thanks in advance! August 20, 200322 yr comment_1909 Technical advice there! Thanks anyway fellas, problem sorted - I had to turn off the power supply, disconnect the battery, turn on the power supply and reconnect the battery. All works now, and this wasnt in any ofthe manuals being banded around here. Anyway, again! August 20, 200322 yr comment_1910 I emailed someone that advice a few hours ago, was it you ? And yeah you do need a new control panel battery. Try downpowering the system, mains and control panel batteryfor about 10 seconds (the bells might sound) then re apply the mains and battery, your keypad should spring back to life, so enter your code to shut it up, and then re fit the panel lid. Go back to the keypad and press the reset button. That should have cured the panel locking up. Also of course you wont find that information in any manual. ........................................................
