digitecks
I have installed 3 8ch hikvision ( DS-7208HGHI-SH ) in different locations and added audio , the problem I am trying to resolve is I have audio on the live feed ,but non on record/playback. I have set ch1 to record video/audio. I don't normally add audio to my installations so not sure if this model records the audio or am I missing something , Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39615-hikvision-tvi-recorder-audio/ Share on other sites
petrolhead
Make sure ch1 normal and event are set to video/audio and go into schedule, continuous, i think its advanced, and make sure record audio is ticked. Also set substream to video/audio if you want audio on fluent. petrolhead
In the web interface it comes under schedule, advanced On the dvr direct you just tick record audio under the mainstream settings. digitecks
I did not see the audio record in the advanced settings, so changed that , but the audio is dropping in and out on play back, every second, but ok on live , the recording is set to continuous, Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/39615-hikvision-tvi-recorder-audio/#findComment-438825 Share on other sites
