Just installed a SD2 dialler for the first time and the text message will not receive.

its a analogue bt line the phone number is correct,protocol is correct its programmed as text only any ideas.

Have you told it what signal triggers each message and have you made sure each input is enabled and is set up correctly.

I know another engineer who had the same problem, menvier said it was a faulty unit and to change it, not believing what they said, he defaulted it and reprogrammed from scratch, checked every default and renabled them and hey presto the unit worked.

You need to double check every setting and dont take it for granted because the manual says something is enabled that it is.

Thanks colin, i think it is something simple like selecting the correct input i give it a go monday.

Its surprising how much more detail there is compared to the SD1.
