October 9, 200421 yr comment_26731 I've just installed a Texecom Premier 24 and one of the tests I did was to set all the zones to Soak Test except for 1 PIR. The PIR is set to Guard. I then set the alarm and opened/closed the front door and the alarm armed. When I went into the room with the active PIR the internal sounders came on and then after about 15-20 seconds the external sounder came on. Is this correct? I was expecting the external sounder to activate immediately. I can't find any setting to change the delay, can someone point me in the right direction, or is this normal? October 10, 200421 yr comment_26792 1. Make sure the zone is programmed to guard. 2. Make sure you are full setting the panel. If both of the above are true then check the bell delay timer in 6.2 arming programming. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/3856-texecom-premier-external-sounder-delay/#findComment-26792 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
