Guest Amateur Posted August 14, 2003 Share Posted August 14, 2003 I've recently installed a 9448+, but on testing the system find that removing mains power shuts down the panel and activates the Bell. The instruction manual, suggests that the backup battery should power the system for at least 8-12 hours. I notice that the battery supplied is a 2.2Ah instead of the recommended 2.1 but don't think that should make much difference. Also as I couldn't get a 1A fuse of normal dimensions to fit in a standard fused spur unit, I have used a 2A - again don't think that this should make too much difference but could be wrong. Will replace it and see what happens Tks.
