ShawJ
Hi, which card does a security project manager require to work on a building site - is it a CSCS or ECS card? Thanks.
Dark Mud
You would need an CSCS which is issued by ECS. You would only need a vistor card if you are not physically working on site. You can get a fast track card for £246. The card will be issued on the same day, its a lot cheaper if you wait around 6 weeks. Call 0845 313 1432 for booking the test. goncall
the ecs card is more relevant to our industry https://www.ecscard.org.uk/cards_cardtypes.aspx
Chopper81
Ive only ever used ecs but if you have done the iosh course in the last 1w month you can get the ecs without doing the test
SouthernBrad
As above the ECS card is more applicable to the Security industry and as Chopper mentioned if you've sat the iosh safetly passport test or completed an NVQ L3 in the past year or few years you do not have to sit the test. skelffie
The ECS card is a really good system as you have many disciplines listed on one card. You can have your electrical qualification, fire alarm training, intruder and many more.
