Ive tried the DS 820 and im a bit disapointed. Ive had to block off the bottom few zones. We have even weighed the dog 5 stone or 32 kg. The DS820 says it will ignore upto 45 kg all i can think it is either getting close to its limit or the dog is emitting excess IR, concentrated IR, just getting daft now.

But im still getting better coverage than before, so must'nt grumble.

I was disapointed at the lense not being white, its bordering on being clear so looks like a B&Q special.

Thats me summary over with.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

Was it the newer DS820ita? It is a lot better detector than the DS820

No false alarms provided the microwave is adjusted correctly. It will cause problems if just stuck up as in comes out of the box even with a small dog, as one of our engineers found out.

No mate its the DS820iT. I had the dog triggering it between 3 and 6 metres. Ill fanny about with it tomorrow, but i think its set up ok.
