So what's the average time on site by a crim then?

can't relate to actual written stat info but afaik 90 seconds.

A show on the box where they had an ex crime breaking in, trash the place and get what they wanted, all done in 90 seconds.

I worked for Combat Alarms in service, they advertised a system would be installed within 4 hours of the call 24/7 - and it was. service engineers carried a panel that had a lead and 13 amo plug, whacked it into easiest socket, run cables with elastoplas over doorways, light fittings jus to stop trip hazard, only thing screwed down was the EWD.

It might not have been pretty but it was highly effective in restoring the 'castle's security' in the victims minds, especially women. if the keys were stolen i'd swap out or fit a new lock. Gave them some security until the instal could be done properly.

The state some places were turned unto, it was sickening, the damage done was often far more than what was stolen, the damage phycology wise is not measurable. imho it is where alarms really score, if not by initially deterring they help make the 'visit' shorter, reducing damage.
