Has anybody ever experience a problem whereby acuix domes will sometimes spin around and around continuously for no apparent reason?

 

Or sometimes they might zoom in and out for no apparent reason.

 

Then when the keyboard is pressed, the dome will 'sort itself out' and work again!?

 

I have seen this many times, including with the old ultrak kd6 domes but have yet to find a reason this happens.

 

Any thoughts welcomed

not sure on that model put as a rule it could be a few things, PTZ and controller powered from different phase, bad ground/common etc
