I installed the above Security Alarm System approx. 2 years ago and it has worked fine!

In the last few days however I have noticed a problem!

When I set the Alarm, the exit tone ceases when I open the Exit Door then it starts again when I close the Exit Door!

Prior to this happening, after setting the Alarm, the exit tone increased in tempo when I opened the Exit Door and then resumed at normal tempo when I closed the Exit Door!

I have restored the Panel to Factory Settings and then I have reprogrammed it but to no avail!

Any assistance would be most appreciated!

That sounds normal. Iirc that panel beeps to circuit number that is open on exit. Ie 4 bips for circuit 4 etc

Thanks for your reply but I still cannot understand why the "beeps" do not occur now whereas a few days ago they did!

Yes the contact is working ok!

After rechecking (my hearing is very bad!), I have realised that the Panel does in fact "beep" but the additional sounder that I fitted in the Panel stops sounding on exit when I open the Exit Door but starts again when I shut the Exit Door!

When I re enter my property the additional sounder works fine!!!
