Hello my first posting on this forum.

 

Any help with the following would be greatly appreciated.

 

1.        Would a Ultima bell box purchased 10 years ago have the TWM input facility?

 

2.      If a Ultima bell box with TWM is connected to a Scantronic 9800.  Are the 1K resistors required in the control panel?  Having read the instruction manual, the only Scantronic panel it mentions about putting the 1K resistors in, is the 9448.

IIRC a resistor at the bell / panel is needed to stop the sounder ringing ( thinking trigger us absent)
