I have recently installed a door entry system, but the lock does not seem to function properly.

It is a acet 66266 2 wire system, but using original door lock.

The intercom works fine, but when you try to buzz in the door does a half click and does not release the catch completly

Any help would be much appreciated.

Mixing ac and dc?, voltages?.

I have 12v dc at the hand set, door catch and intercom.

Everything switches over when it should do.

Could it be a case of not enough voltage from handset to door catch, as when i link the feed and door catch out at the intercom system the door catch operates fine?
