Know of one near me, had about 12 engineers, no national accounts. no idea about turnover but sold for about 400k last year

If you don't know......ask.

I know of a company with 50-75k turnover that sold for 30k

Going rate is about 85-100% turnover, or 1.5x the profit round here

Bee Tee Alarms are rumoured to be up for sale, I say rumoured cos I dont know if its true, came from the blue and whites?

Communication is "A question asked, and an Opinion given." I offer mine to help you with yours.

Statements I make are my personal views only at the time they are posted, if I offend you sorry, must be taken in context and do not neccesarily represent those of my employer.

Depends what the turnover is aswell - if its mostly Pms/monitoring then it would be more valuable than a CCTV installing outfit for example.

I almost bought a company in cheshire for £80,000 last year, Am i glad i got it checked out as ot turns out it was running a loss and partner keyholding company was subsidising it for years. The owner wasn't selling the keyholding side of business, and this is a man that i worked for for 5 1/2 years!.

ALWAYS pay an accountant to check these things out fully and dont rush into it, Im glad i didnt even though im still working all hours to make someboby else rich...........

I'll sell you mine for £80 :)

I'll even take installments

If you don't know......ask.
