Hi,

Ive come across a Gardtec 800 model alarm at one of my clients and was after some advise.

There is an area of the unit that has 3 PIRs and 1 contact which is wired to a remote expander board. These are labeled as zones 21, 22, 23, 24

How can i program them zones like i can do with the other 11 "on board" zones. when i select zone 21+ it errors saying invalid zone. Any help on this would be massively appricated (however you spell it)

You should be able to select what zone from the panel.

Is the expander light flashing constantly on the board? Does the PIR's/DC trigger in walk test?

Either the expander is not on/the labelling is wrong as it could be say expander 2 which starts at zone 31.

Best way is to find out what number the little jumper is on the expander itself.
