Scantronic 9651 - Battery Change

Featured Replies

I have a Scantronic 9651.

I have the engineer code and user code.

What I need to do is change the battery as it says it is low. How do I do this without setting the alarm off. It is currently in engineer mode to stop the beeping.

Thanks.

if its in engineer mode it will ignore the tamper so you can remove the panel lid. Then just swap it assuming it is sized correctly

Do I have to turn the mains off to the alarm? Thanks.

if your not confident then dont do it, if you damage anything the costs to repair will soon escalate. Always isolate the power before opening anything
