Viper Glx Problem Scantronic 9751 Panel

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Please can you help I have 2-3 Viper GLX's on one Zone connected to Scan 9751 Panel, Due to constraints with using existing wiring and plaster they are wired with 4 core. Please see the diagram i have attached to explain the best i can, i have wired the alarm in series and -ve terminal is connected to the OP3 at the panel as Shock reset going by the manual. I have been told this its possible to wire in this way.

Problem i am getting is that when i arm the system it states the Zone is open (only with the shocks) it arms successfully however and if I bang them twice they do correctly set the alarm off

Any ideas on improvements or any links i have missed out?

Many Thanks

B

Its because the op toggles to clear any latch everytime its set, longs its sets its OK. How old is the panel?

You could have used inertia sensors as 9751 have shock analysers on ccts 1-4 off memory. You could have put the two on separate circuits.

Not a fan on doors though as when the postie knocks...... ;)
