Honeywell Galaxy G2

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, Hope someone can help.

Probably a rookie mistake.

Have set up a g2 system with two wired pir's and 3 wireless pir's

One of the wired pir's is on zone 1, with exit as the config, when I set the system all is works fine

exit delay etc 2 beeps to say the system is set.

But upon entry the entry delay does not start and the alarm is triggered.

Not sure where I have gone wrong with this any help would be appreciated.

John.

I think you need to program your entry/exit zone as Final, not Exit. Exit is an entry route zone

If your not using tags make sure you disable the DD243 keypad settings as well

Thanks reidy

Tried setting zone 1 as Final,

on entry the entry timer starts but the system cannot be unset.

when i enter the user code the keypad reports system is set, and does not disarm the alarm,

then after some seconds the alarm activates and bell sound then you can enter the code to disarm the alarm.

any input would be greatly apreciated.

That sounds like the DD243 setting, IIRC its in parameters > DD243 > Restrict Keypad = 0 Off

Many thanks for that reidy.

Configured zone 1 as final, and restrict keypad = 0.

All tested and working the way it should.

(note to self don't dose off during another training session.)
