February 18, 201115 yr comment_270013 Help about i-on40 Hi i would like to buy for a security alarm system the scantronic i-on40. I am a beginner about installations and i have some questions. I want to use only wired products for now. Can i use speech dialer simultaneously with gsm dialer? February 18, 201115 yr comment_270015 you would have to wire all the contacts eg as a single zone as there are only 16 wired zones. if you want both pstn/gsm get a stand alone unit eg sd3 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31086-help-about-scantronic-i-on40/#findComment-270015 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 18, 201115 yr comment_270019 you could go to the new ion 160 all same detectors keypads etc and add expanders (10z 0n board and 10 per expander) you can add upto 45 devices (max 15 expanders to the bus (max 140 zones) it takes an i-gsm02 that will send a text /speach message over mobile network or cheaper to go for i-sd02 speach dialer and go to a monitoring station and have them call your mobile we are in the middle of our first Install with this one at the moment. And 2 more in the pipe line big end station good room for stu or csl unit and 17ah batt. www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31086-help-about-scantronic-i-on40/#findComment-270019 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
