whistle
I neet to replace a hard drive in a DS2, the one fitted is a 320gig. Today i attempted to format a 500gig hdd to fat 32 so it will work in the DS2. After about 2 hours formating windows said disk size to large for fat 32. Now i know 40gig is about the largest size you can format fat 32 but i found some info on google about using CMD prompt to format 500gig. Anyhow it did not work. any ideas??? camullins
The good old DS2 dead harddrive! I bet it had maxstor's in it! I used Paragon Partion Manager to format the HDD's when I did them. PM me if you need any help. Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30600-ds2-hard-drive-problems/#findComment-264864 Share on other sites
