As tittle, free app used between iPhones but unlike skype don't need to actually be logged in.

Works over mob net or WiFi, ideal I'd thought for engineer comms on the move out on site as intercoms.

Once registered, anyone in your phone book with iphone registers after, you get a text.

To use the service, you open the Viber app which shows your contacts in a different screen colour, contact is very fast, almost immediate.

Makes me think might be a way to be more secure against the recent £15 phone hackers eaves dropping, not sure if it is though.
