Hello

I recently had an Infinite prime wireless alarm system installed. It seems to work fine but due to a faulty closing clip on a PIR an alarm event occurred

entering the code shut off the alarm but it will not let me rearm the system

Is there something I should enter into via the menu system or do I have to acknowledge the alarm event in order to normalise.

Probably acknowledge at RKP rather than use remote fob.

Try that.

Errr also refit the lid correctly.

Oxo thanks for the reply but it appears you have me mixed up with someone who knows about all of this. Whats an RKP

I think I have to acknowledge the alarm event in the events log in order to reset??

The PIR case front is taped ( only the bottom ) up and another placed on order

Well if the unit is stil in fault then you could remove it from the system. by taking it out of the programming. Assuming you have the manual and think your able to.

RKP = Remote KeyPad the keypad on the panel.

Just taping it up may/wil not cure the tamper.

The PIR is serviceable and the case lid is in the correct position. I think I have to enter some detail or acknowledge the alarm in the system events log

the problem is how to reset the thing

Is it programmed for engineers reset?

Sorry I have no idea. I know this is a big ask but the wireless Infinite prime installation manual is available online ( google)

it may suggest its easy but its all technical mumbo jumbo to me, a bit like one of the new phones does a million things

That was in my mind James but this as you know is public..

Apologies it was not my intention to misuse the forum or cause any offence I just thought one of you guys may have programmed

an infinite prime and could perhaps advise on the issue I am having with not being able to reset
