Problems with DM Sprite 2A

Featured Replies

Hi All

I've used this config many times and I trust it to work, usually!!

We have a digi sprite that we've plumbed into an existing system (foot in the door so to speak).

On this system is 3 existing PTZ's with baxall receivers (zr3) The sprite has a remote keyboard for the telemetry /joystick control.

Problem------------

We are finding the ptzs are drifting to the right or left or up or down(very slowly) after they we stop manual control. We have recalibrated the sprite keyboard and also tried my workshop one and it does the same thing.

Any Ideas? Anyone??

Steve

Hi Steve

Have you checked all the terminations for all the cameras on the system.

Im presuming its coax telemetry your using, Its been a while since I used one myself, but what you want to look for is a ringing image, ie it always looks a bit blurred. Telemetry down the coax sits in the sync pulse so if there is a camera on the same ground loop that isn't terminated then you end up with extra noise on the sync pulse which can resemble a telemetry signal pulse.

I think thats right
