Just dropping a note to say hello to everyone!

I am in the process of fitting an alarm to my home and have been using this forum to read up on products and information before buying an alarm.

Just about to start fitting the alarm so hopefully you guys will be able to provide some info & support if I run into any problems!

Evening Oxo,

I have bought a Honeywell Galaxy 2-44 with a RF portal to enable wireless along with the domonial magnetic door contacts with a reson8 bell box and mk7 keypad.

I have just been doing all the donkey work myself - i.e. mounting the equipment/bell box and pulling the cables for it, spurring a power supply for the control unit and mounting the mag contacts etc.

I am not ready to power it up yet but after reading what has been written about this panel and the difficulties encountered I am a bit sheepish about setting up the system! If needed I would get a vendor with experience on this system to set up the alarm correctly if I cannot manage it myself.

Do you know of anyone on this forum who has good experience on this particular alarm system and would be willing to offer support if I needed it?
