southfield
I am having difficulty in setting up this unit. My main exit entry is via zone 5 full set A. At night the main exit rout is via zone 2 and set with B. The problem is that if you enter through zone 5 when part set in B the system does not recognise zone 5 is open. Can anyone help? Guest Oxo
Or is the zone set as entry on both A and B? Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/28976-scantronic-9651-control-unit/#findComment-239640 Share on other sites
arfur mo
a logical approach will save hours of time and frustration, you might do better using a basic setup and get that working properly before you go on to the more exotic, ie. walk before you run. so forget all the fancy part sets until you get it to work properly as a full on system, check carefully all you detection actually works and they are actually on the zones you think they are - accidental zone cross overs happen to the best' believe me they do and over confidence often leads to the biggest falls. then modify one zone at a time and check the results. regs Arfur Mo If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! Regards okay you havnt selected 5 to be "active" when set option B, should read "5:FE.....AB.....1" if you want the ability to "come in" through that route when set on "B" rather than instant alarm change "60:B=FE=NA" to "60:B=FE=FE" and just a 10 seconds entry time, are you sure?
