Tamper switch on bell box not sat right? That seems the most likely problem.

Best advise is get an engineer in. Even if you think you've got it right you may not have. Why risk your security to save the builders a few beers.

change them anyway, only a couple of £`s if that doesnt work just get the builders to sort it at their cost (couldnt possibly recommend stiffing them for a better panel - could I?)
