hi does anyone have a manual for a scantronic 9640? i am adding a sd1+ onto it and cant find the manual asnwhere. if not i need to find out what to connect to using the communicator plug in.

well ive got to wire and SD1+ and on the control panel theres a plug on connector to wire up the speech dialler. I dont know what each core does on the connector to wire it up ! currently the SD1+ is wired into the + and - on the control panel with OP3 on the control panel wired to TRIG C on the SD1+ with trig polarity set to -. I dont seem to be able to get a signal through to the SD1+ so i guess im doing something wrong?

Use Yellow for intruder and White for confirmed from the comms lead

+ & - assume ok (says sd1+ on display?)

Take wire out of op3 & trig C.

Connect wire between :

yellow wire on connector & Trig A (intruder)

Orange wire on connector & Trig B (Panic button)

Brown wire on connector &Trig C (Fire)

This assumes you have smokes connected (fire) & panic buttons connected (or PA on keypad enabled- cmd 87). Otherwise just use the yellow to trig A.

Also you need to record general message with your address on SD1+ (messge O), then record message A as *Intruder*, B as *panic* etc.

The 9651 & SD1+ are already progged for this (apart from messege!)
