Hi All

A very quick question from a newbie.

When should the ADT bell box internal LEDs flash?

- All the time?

- Only at night?

- Only when armed?

- Only when the alarm has been triggered?

I want to ensure that mine is not appearing odd or out of place to a potential thief that knows ADT.

Hi there, the LED's will normally flash continuously-to show that it is indeed a 'live box'.

The strobe on the other hand only flashes during an 'alarm' condition normally.

The LED's (two on most boxes) flash intermittantly-and are fairly low vis-sometimes hard to see in daytime.

The strobe is a much brighter visible sign even during the day-to show of an activation.

If you've just had it installed by the yellow box people then it will have the new LEDs, if you've had it a few years then it wont
