I have a house with a Scantronic 9200 and it worked fine for the last 6 months since moving in. As of last weekend zone 1 is constantly on when I set the alarm. There are 2 sensors for zone 1. Both sonsors have the red light on constantly. Has anyone got any ideas on how I can trace the fault for this, or can you send the manuals to brianilland@tiscali.co.uk. Zone 2 and the sensor on the door appear to be working fine. I had someone come out to look at it who told me that I'd need a new system fitted after looking at it for 5 mins.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated....

Where latching detectors have been used there is usually a reset button or keypad driven resetting device near to the panel.

Check your panel for an externally mounted button.
