Think im having a dumb moment but just re-commissioned a 9448 style for a customer all re programmmed ok, changed the bell for texecom odessey 3, had a wire link between 0v and tr while programming, after connectong bell and setting system off bell/strobe will not sound??? if i go to remove bell lid screw it sounds on tamper and have checked all connections? is there a strange procedure for powering up bells on this model?

hope someone can help. perhaps its just fri 13th????

Disconnect the switched sounder negative from the panel and apply it to 0 volts, if the external sounds you know the sounder and wiring are ok.

The 0v and TR are probably the wrong way round. Caught me out a few times when changing bells for this model
