Any ideas? I would work for a security company that dosn't do alarms wouldn't I... Put your code into the panel and see what happens - any error message? Elmeye Posted February 28, 2009 Author Share Posted February 28, 2009 All there is on the system is 4 wireless motion detectors and the exit door, system test shows all zones working fine. putting in master code shows no error message. wondering if i need to go in as engineer but no idea how to do so. Alarm Protection Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Have you got any battery smoke detectors in the house? Does not sound like the alarm as it would bring a fault up on the keypad. Have you changed any settings? Any zone changed to chime would sound if a detector is tripped. ! james.wilson Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 i think the point they are trying to make is everyone blames the alarm and it usually turns out to be something else. Try pulling the batts out the smoke detectors completly for a few minutes and see if it stops.
