Guest RJBsec
Quotes are thereabouts but I would see no reason for needing a G2-44 for the size of system you require. alterEGO
Thanks RJBI was thinking the same concerning the difference between the G2-20 & G2-44 I was actually leaning towards the 1st quote regardless, as they showed high level of professionalism in dealing with all aspects of the quote. Is that first one including monitoring for the year? if so that is a very good deal, and in London. No monitoring, (using existing speech dialler), and using existing cables! hpotter
How much for maint thereafter? TCO etc. Both seem about right for London, would expect 1st to be dearer on the annual maint. Both give no warranty on dialler & wiring? (ie untested) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/27162-does-this-sound-right/#findComment-226203 Share on other sites

Guest old-hand
One is a bit cheaper than us the other a bit more and we are central London. No need for the G2-44 unless ya house is massive and you want expansion. Panel does text anyway so why use the speech dialler. The texts are more site specific and carry time and date stamps and even the users unsetting if using that feature, great to see your children come home ect. the-oneil
I was informed by a professional installer (member here) that since the installers will be using the existing cables, then the price is steep. Both quotes exclude monitoring, but include a 1 year maintenance. Maintenance thereafter is Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/27162-does-this-sound-right/#findComment-226234 Share on other sites
