February 17, 200917 yr comment_225113 I'm considering getting a Visonic PowerMax + but want to use a conventional wired sounder (Siren, Strobe, 12v supply to battery backup, anti-tamper) but the standard configuration uses a fully wireless sounder. I've read the PowerMax + installation guide, but I'm still not sure how I would connect a wired sounder. If the sounder connections are: Hold + Hold - Trg - Stb - Return How would I connect this to the PowerMax + and would it need any special programming? Does the PowerMax + have enough power to drive a typical wired sounder? February 17, 200917 yr comment_225115 Watch the power consumption of the sounder Powermax+ is a bit limited. Its fairly easy to hardwire into the panel. No special programming needed. Not got a manual to hand and cannot remember the connections ( hic had a beer ) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/27019-powermax-with-wired-sounder/#findComment-225115 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
