I have just purchased a Honeywell HRHD16+ DVR which seems to work ok except that I cannot get it to record other than in 'Panic' or by pressing the record button. What I really want is to setup recording on motion detection.... which it says it can do. Having read the manual a few times and tried different setup's I would be grateful for any advice that could be provided.

I dont know about honeywell but sometimes u have to enable the days u wanna use motion rec. check your event record or something! and go to motion setup where u can eable motion areas! it might be disabled.
