.dvr File And Burning To Dvd?

Featured Replies

Hi

I am after burning a .dvr file (not .dvr-ms) to a DVD so I can play it on a DVD player.

can any one tell me what software is needed for this?

Thank you.

P.S. I search all over google and everything comes up with dvr-ms files

you will need a video editing package that will also read your current file. Pro CCTV cant be read for obvious reasons, but some machines do burn to consumer playable dvd format. (JVC for example)

I have the software to view the file, but I am unsure what software I need to actuly burn the file to a dvd so it will play in my dvd player.

any ideas of a software name that will do that bit?

no as i said you will find that its a non std format which is why you need a specialist viewer. If you can convert it to a std video format (sav avi) from your app then you can.
