FBII panel (honeywell security)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Here in The Netherlands we (security-gadgets) do install the FBII-Omni panel already for years now. Only with good results...! Hibryde, a combination of wired & wireless Ademco components. FBII panels are distributed in Europe by Honeywell Security.

I've never read about this brand on this forum, so is there anyone who shares my experience ?

(with special compliments to Dave for this great website)

Hello and welcome elbert, I think the panel you refer to is known as the infra 16 over here and I have worked on them. they take a little getting used to

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

if it is the ademco infra 16 they are no obsolete. you wont get any parts for them anywhere we use them but when they go up the swanny they get upgraded

Any comments/opinions posted are my own and not that of my employers.

If it is the panel I think it is (Fire and Burglary Instruments??), then I have a limited amount of experience with them. They are very solid panels, that just don't seem to go wrong - if you can get them right in the first place. As I recall, the company that I used to work for (in Zimbabwe) did not install them because the programming was insanely complicated, and the technical support for FBI was non-existant. As I say though, very reliable panels.
