January 27, 200917 yr comment_222172 I have a customer who is having difficulties with his Accenta 8 keypad, i.e. buttons not always functioning and/or sticking. I know the panel is now obsolete and apparently the new keypads aren't compatible with the old generation panels. Anyone know where I may be able to locate an old keypad? Its a pain as we have taken over an old company and all of their Fully Comprehensive contracts, customers are questioning our right to charge them for a panel change as they are Fully Comp!! January 27, 200917 yr comment_222190 If it's not a G3 you might be able to carefully clean it although this is far from ideal if it's even possible depends on if the keypad can be taken out. I would carefully check the wording of the contract as well. I'd work out a price for a new panel as you'd charge a new customer and then maybe see the boss about offering it to this customer at a discounted price how discounted is up to you..
