is it the same as a scantronic radio door contact

you can hard wire a read switch to it but you have to move jumper

on board to enable operation

The door sensor that I'm trying to modify is a SkyLink Door/Window Sensor model WD-101. It doesn't seem that much detailed technical info is available concerning this device. There is an internal jumper that is currently in position J1. Do you think that moving this jumper to position J2 will allow easier connection of an external reed relay? If so, where should the relay be connected? Thanks!
