Hi there,

Ive recently installed a texecom R8 system in to a friends workshop

and have everything running nicely even the speech dialer

There is something im not to clear on and cant find this out in any of the

manuals or the internet.

Will this unit allow multiple alarm codes, im looking to run about 6 alarm codes

for different users etc... or have i made the worst mistke and bought a pretty

standard home panel and it only has engineer and owner code capabilities.

Any light on the above would be a great help

I'm pretty sure from memory that the R8 only gives the ability to assign one user code whereas the R8+ allows multiple user codes.

Texecom do have a tech support number which is published in the manual, they will be able to confirm for you.

The R8 has only one user code available

The R8+ has 8 user codes available
