Help - My Alarm System Is Dead!

Recommended Posts

Whilst in the house the alarm started making a noise like it why dying, I enter the pin code several times which when it finally accepted it, the whole system died and hasn't worked for months!

This is a basic wall panel connected to a box in the electricity cupboard, what are the first steps of fault finding myself, I was thinking about getting a new battery?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

hello & welcome

product information is needed to have a hope of helping

imagine your talking about a car not an alarm.

we don't know the make, model, age or fault - would a new battey help it run = god knows.

take pictures of the keypad you enter your code in and the panel in the cupboard if you don't know details.

Have You checked to see if it has a fuse for the mains ac it might just be the fuse

You'll be needing one of these then.

But It might be worth getting someone to look at it for you. might not be as expensive as you think?

I have a battery its just not on the pic, or do you mean you suggest I buy a new one, there
