Minerva Problem

Featured Replies

ADT Minerva panel.

Addresssable sounder started playing up recently, showing high ident.

When removed the panel showed low ident.

If a different device is removed it shows device removed.

Any ideas why it shows low ident when this sounder is removed ??

Thanks

Another device with the same address?

Well thats what i thought but surely it would come up with a double address??

Just seems a bit weird to me......!

No double address on minerva, the device current gets added together(hence high then low ident), you are lucky that it is a sounder so didn't generate a fire alarm.

hmm... live and learn...!

seems strange the systems been in for nearly 10 years and its only just come up... i guess the second device is the one drawing a bit more current, hence the problem.... will look into it a bit more....

thanks
