I have an old Scantronic 8136 which I suspect may have a faulty keypad. I think the part no. was an 831.

Does anyone know if the new 931 keypad is a replacement for this?

The 931 was the keypad for the 816/840/8136 panels. I think you may be refering to the 9930, which won't work on an 8136.

As it happens there is a brand new 931 on eBay at the moment.

Ok thanks. The keypad has 831 on it. Did Scantronic ever make an 831 keypad or is this likely to have been rebaged by some company?

Not sure to be honest. The 8136 was a little before my time, although I have worked on quite a few of them. All of them have had the same 931 keypad as far as I can remember, never seen one badged as an 813.

only keypads for 8136 were 928 930 and 931

so i believe a rebadge
