June 12, 200817 yr comment_201032 first question do you understand what EOL means? if so then you will understand that any pir, can be any value eol. Eol has nothing to do with the pir...but the value of resistor that the panel see in certain conditions Kevin Scott. Owner of KK Alarms...... Installation .. Service .. Repair ...... Thoughout.. June 12, 200817 yr Author comment_201034 Yes I do understand, so I would have to physically wire the correct values within the PIR to make it work. June 12, 200817 yr comment_201038 Kevin..I think he means the pirs with jumper selection for the eol. It tells you on the info sheet that comes with the pir, use 10k and 22k for the R8plus. June 12, 200817 yr comment_201040 correct. you got it just make sure you get the resistor the right way round, as the panel will look for the tamp value as default...if this is not the case it will display a tamp fault on zone xx... June 12, 200817 yr Author comment_201041 Thanks again. I think I have been lucky that I haven't wired them in before as the premier pannel you just use the jumpers to set the value. June 12, 200817 yr comment_201042 i apologise , did not know this particular pir came with onboard resistor. just use the jumpers to set the value stated for tamp and alarm..and wire one pair of wires as per diagram. i was thinking you were going to have to hard wire the resistors in... banghead Edited June 12, 200817 yr by kka Kevin Scott.
