I'm hoping someone can help me, I have installed a scantronic 9651 alarm in my house, wiring was no problem and the alarm is currently in installer mode. I have managed to set the date and time and reading the manual I understand how to set up the zone numbers and change zone 1 for instance to Front Door, however I am stuck working out what types and attributes I use. I assume for the pirs I use normal alarm but what attribute. Also for the front door is this a normal alarm?

Time to sit down and read the manual again , and again.Pay particular attention to pg21 , there are all the available commands , and the ones that are ticked are the factory defaults.

The defaults will allow you to get it working "out of the box" eg zone 1 = entry (FE) , zone 2 = entry route(eg. hall pir), all other zones are normal alarm (value 03).Have a look at each command and see how it affects your system eg. tamper or PA reset , number of rearms etc.
