every time i set my alarm it sets as if it ok but my neighbor tells me it bleeps continually as if it was being set ?

its had a new battery and service 10 months ago ive done all the test on it and all seems fine ?

Try setting it , but stay inside to see if it sets, ensure all the zone leds go off.

What 'bleeps' the outside sounder or the internal speaker?

As fast car has said try setting the system why you stand next to the panel (press set twice for a fast set) and see what happens, it sounds as though a detector isn't clearing when you leave the house.

This could have been caused on the last service.

due to the menu set-up of the optima/accenta range, if you try and put the older versions [xl6 ect] into test in the same manner as the g3 you can end up resetting the entry timer to infinity.

belive me, i had to go round to loads at a firm i once worked for after they took some one on who did the same. it is simple to put right, and as i told him, when you have finished the service get the customer to do a set/unset.
