April 7, 200818 yr comment_194448 Hi, Can someone help please? I have a bells only Ademco Accord intruder alarm system. i want to delete the all codes and have only one master code. I believe I have successfully changed the master code by entering the following on the control panel (codes are examples) 1234 8 1 5678 followed by two beeps I have then tried to delete the other user codes by entering the new master code 5678 8 2 followed by two beeps 5678 8 3 etc upto user code 9. The problem is that when I test the codes are gone they have not been deleted. How can I permanently remove all the user codes and enure the master code i want is the only code in use? The other problem is the standby battery no longer works, can someone recommend where I can buy a new one please? All help much appreciated. April 7, 200818 yr comment_194452 Hi try using the master code eg 5678,8,user number you wish to delete, then*. Sounds to me that your possibly trying to prog all users to the same number-that won't work Regards Richard. Hi Richard, I just tried that but it did not work, I entered the following on the control panel 5678 (example master code) 8 2 * It beeped twice but when I have gone back and entered the user code I have tired to delete for example 9999 the 9999 code is still valid. Any thoughts? April 7, 200818 yr comment_194455 Is this of any help, page 10? Accord_xpC_User_Instructions.pdf ps If this is not the right Accord panel, let us know the correct one, I'm sure the correct manual will then appear. Hi, Page 10 worked a treat thank you so much!!! My alarm is not actually the XPC model but it would appear the settings are the same. I really appreciate your help with this matter. Do you by chance know where I can purchase a replacement standby battery for the accord? Thanks again Newsatten Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/22839-ademco-accord/#findComment-194456 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 April 7, 200818 yr comment_194460 Hi, most electrical wholesalers will do them-open the lid-tamper will go off-put your code in to shut it up,check capacity of battery ie 1.2 ah,replace lid, reset panel, get same battery. maplins do them as well but they're twice as expensive!!.
