Hello all,

I currently have Optima XL 4 fitted (approx 8 years) and would like to upgrade it as its been unreliable and the install looks a bit of a mess with wires on show here and there.

I'm competent enough to carry out the install myself but would like to hear any recommendations you have. Are these wireless types available any good?? I'm guessing no.

Also I'll need to disable and remove my Optima XL without waking the street! Any tips there please?

cheers, Stan

Unlikely to get a decent DIY wireless panel thou there's some good professional stuff available.

Texecom panels are used by many installers but anyone can buy them and anyone can get support from Texecom, so probably your best bet.

Gardtec CPX panel with 8 on board wired zones and add on receiver 8 wireless zones.
