March 20, 200818 yr comment_193456 Sounds like a miss wire to me. Standard two wire phones like your converse ones use A/B pair connected to 2/5 of a PABX master socket. Featurephones require the data pair too (C/D), which are connected to terminals 1/6 of either a PABX master or secondary socket (former preferably to allow SLT phones to also be used).
