Scantronic 9448+

Featured Replies

have just replaced an old syhmpony panel with scantronic 9448+

there is no SAB external bell, but sounders intenally x 2 110db premises is an isolated youth centre so loud intenal sounders, work well if activated as intruders cant stand noise level ,its to loud to enter premises.

we want to retain this method but cant seem to get a 12 volt supply from bottom connections on bell/strobe connectors

have linked tamper pair as per installation manual

the resistance for internal sounders is above 16 ohms, so will not work off internal sounder supply

any help welcome

graham

Are they speakers or sounders?

if they are speakers they will not work on the bell connections, you need to use the LS terminals. but 16 ohms max

if they are sounders i suggest you use a power supply to feed the sounders through a relay

Hope this helps
