June 15, 200322 yr comment_931 I have been to the redcare website for a bit more understanding am I right in saying that the inputs on the STU are the same as a DIGICOM but with more sophisticated equipment inside. Also when you test a digicom with the arc is it the same test as a STU with the arc? just a thought :?: Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/224-redcare-stu/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 15, 200322 yr comment_932 Youv`e got it, the only real difference between Redcare and Digicom, is that Redcare is constantly being monitored at the ARC, signals are almost instant, and keyholders can be notified of any line faults and decide what action they want to take. Digicom only communicates with the ARC when a signal needs to be sent, so theres a delay while it dials, and communicates. If the line is cut or at fault, then obviously no signals are sent. ........................................................
